Dr. med. Davit Saghabalyan
Dr. med. Davit Saghabalyan moved to Berlin in 2008 and worked at the Berlin Military Hospital and Charité between 2009 and 2011. He then continued his cardiology training near Berlin, completing a fellowship in invasive cardiology in Nauen. During this time, he gained extensive experience in coronary angiography and device therapy, including pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization therapy.
He is certified as a Cardiac Device Specialist by the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA). Since 2020, he has held a leading clinical role within the cardiology department of Johannesstift Diakonie, with expertise in complex coronary interventions and modern device therapies such as leadless pacemakers, subcutaneous defibrillators, and conduction system pacing.
Approach
Our medical decisions are guided by two principles: evidence and sound clinical judgment. Based on broad experience in invasive cardiology and modern cardiac therapies, the aim is always to find the approach that best fits the individual patient’s condition, needs, and goals.
Consultations focus on clear, individualized recommendations, including a careful discussion of alternatives whenever appropriate. When therapeutic options are limited, this also includes honest and responsible conversations about realistic goals of care. The priority is not to recommend the most complex intervention, but the most appropriate one.
